American Honda extends our heartfelt condolences to the Lenz family

TORRANCE, Calif. – Aug 30 —
The United States Grand Prix Racers Union (USGPRU) issued the following statement August 29, 2010:
INDIANAPOLIS, Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010: Statement from Stewart Aitken-Cade, chief steward, USGPRU:
“USGPRU rider Peter Lenz, age 13 from Vancouver, Wash., suffered traumatic injuries in a crash on the warm-up lap of the USGPRU race Sunday morning at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and succumbed to his injuries. The other rider involved in the incident was not injured.”
American Honda extends our heartfelt condolences to the Lenz family at the loss of their son Peter at this event. Peter was an accomplished amateur road racer and former champion.
Our hearts go out to Peter’s family and the many friends he made along the way.
